The Wisconsin Theta Chapter will be highlighting one of our graduating seniors each week in preparation for their graduation. Each senior will be writing a bit about themselves for the spotlight. Thank you to all senior brothers for their dedication to the chapter and its brothers.
My name is Nick Quarberg, a graduating senior studying Environmental Horticulture, and minoring in Business Administration. After graduation, I will be working as the Assistant Grounds Manager for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Milwaukee Brewers Class-A Affiliate, in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Arriving at college, I never imagined joining a Greek organization; however, joining the “different” fraternity on campus was the best decision in my life. My time spent in SigEp has been the most transformative in my life, allowing me to serve as Chapter President during the 2018-2019 Executive Board term, attend the Ruck Leadership Institute, and to attend the 2019 Grand Chapter Conclave in Houston, Texas. I have also enjoyed working alongside my brothers to instill the values of Leader, Scholar, Athlete, and Gentlemen into my daily life, and into the lives of others. Being challenged to continually develop myself outside of the classroom has complimented my education in many ways, and I am grateful SigEp has transformed me into the man I am today.
I will miss the time I spent in college, and the time spent with my brothers when I graduate, but I look forward to writing the next chapter in my life. I would like to thank all of Wisconsin-Theta’s alumni and volunteers, SigEp headquarters staff, and my brothers for making my college experience phenomenal. My SigEp experience has been unmatched, and I would encourage young men looking to develop themselves to get involved in this transformative organization.
