Tell us about your job history after graduating
“After graduating, I was looking for jobs through Google searches and came across a job as a case manager at JusticePoint Municipal Court Alternatives Program. It lived up to my expectations for my field and helped me grow working with various population groups. While working that job, I decided to go back to school and get a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University. While attending school, I got a side job as a host with America’s Pub Quiz, before doing a student internship as a Clinical Therapist with Access Counseling Services. After the conclusion of my internship, I decided to stay with Access and continue my role as a Clinical Therapist. My main responsibilities with my job included providing mental health and substance use services to my clients. And now I am starting a new position as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Kid’s Thrive.”
